Unique Telecommunications Requirement

Because Sapphire Web Design is a truly international company with offices in both Canada and the UK, there was a requirement for a telecommunications system that would allow their clients to reach them, no matter which country they were in. Sapphire was introduced to ModernWorks through a mutual business colleague. ModernWorks had already been offering Hosted IP PBX telephone systems via the Internet with their SIPWorks product.

A SIP telephone was programmed to connect to a SIPWorks PBX in Canada and was shipped to the UK for trial testing. Telephone calls were placed back to Canada via the SIP telephone and compared to calls made via the traditional land lines. There was no comparison in call quality. Alan Walker, in the UK, liked the SIP telephone so much that he refused to return it! Needless to say, Sapphire Web Design is now a Hosted SIPWorks PBX customer, with extensions in both Canada and the UK, all on the same telephone system.
